Facade Works

Over the coming weeks, some areas around Grand Central’s exterior and car parks will be temporarily closed while upgrade works are underway to replace some areas of the centre’s facade. Thank you for your patience while we invest in the centre’s long-term future.  

Where possible, we have scheduled works to minimise impacts to our Grand Central community.

Customers may notice: 

• Some temporary changes to parking in some areas. 
• Some temporary changes to some centre entrances from the car park, some car park entries and level access from certain passenger lifts.  
• The temporary closure of the car park entry ramp (speed ramp) on Victoria Street leading to the rooftop car park. 
• Some temporary closures of footpaths and roads surrounding the centre. 

The works will commence from 28 September, with signage, traffic management and, during key periods, additional staff in place to assist with temporary wayfinding during these works.  

The centre will remain open and operational during these works.
