Grand Bunnies School Project
Grand Central is proud to present the return of the beloved Grand Bunnies as part of the 2026 Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers and the 30th anniversary of the Grand Central Floral Parade. This year, we're handed the paintbrushes to local students, inviting schools from across the region to transform our iconic Grand Bunnies into colourful works of art inspired by flowers, nature, community and creativity.
Explore the Bunny Trail
From 4 September to 5 October, decorated Grand Bunnies will be displayed throughout Grand Central, showcasing the incredible talent and imagination of Toowoomba students. Each unique design tells a story and celebrates the spirit of Carnival of Flowers.

After 20 September the bunnies will be displayed throughout the centre.
Vote & Help Your School Win
The Grand Bunnies project brings together schools, families and the wider community through a shared celebration of art, imagination and local pride. Be sure to visit Grand Central during Carnival of Flowers to see these larger-than-life creations and cast your vote.
Community votes will determine our winning schools, with fantastic prizes up for grabs:
- 1st Prize: $5,000
- 2nd Prize: $2,000
- 3rd Prize: $1,000
