Summer Fashion

Our fashion galleria is overflowing with fashion that feels like sunshine, and as has become the custom, we’ve rounded up our top picks for the season.

SUMMER… It seemed to take forever to find us, but finally we welcome her back and we’re wasting no time in accepting the invitation to bask in her warm glow, as we return to the great outdoors with our nearest and dearest in tow.

Playing dress ups is one of the joys of having mini humans in our life, and we are so excited to see that Sportscraft has extended its range to kidswear; The Cora check shirt dress was love at first sight with its light as a feather fabric and the timeless enduring style that we have come to know and love from their designs.

For a little ‘surfer style’ meets ‘Garden City, Ghanda is your perfect destination; prints galore and all the colours of the rainbow. Ghanda’s pieces are pure joy and a whole lot of fun. Up next on our favourites list? The Tokyo short paired back with Hippie crochet top…join us, or find the next cutest pairing in store this summer.

For the little man in your life, we pick Seed for the win. Adorable initial bucket hats and accessories are just the beginning and if a onesie doesn’t make you a little giddy, nothing will. For the ultimate in cuteness head into store and check out the colour- block overall – as irresistible as your little man’s chubby cheeks.

Country Road just feels like a part of the Australian landscape and their children’s range is as classic as ever. Best advice is to keep it simple with a polo and gingham shortsand keep it cool with these kids aviator style raybans from Sunglass Hut.

For the not so little man whose quickly becoming a grown-up right before your eyes, quality and value are a must. Head to Myer for a great selection of new brands to hit their store including Bauhaus and Goliath. Our top picks including the pull on knit denim short and striped Navy and Green Polo. Watch him stepping up and out in style.

Now that we have the kids out of the way, lets focus on the grown-up version. Fun fact… we all know Peter Jackson are the destination for suits and formal wear, but did you know they stock a sneaky range of shorts and knitted tees and polos? Well, the secret is out and we are loving the opportunity to bring a little elevated style to our outdoor gatherings. The rib polo shirt in navy is an all-out classic; and easily paired back with shorts, denim, and a chino… ‘you’re welcome!’.

With a trip to Sportscraft on the cards for your kids, it makes sense to find something for the man of the house; linen will always be a house favourite here, especially when you find it in citrus hues like mandarin! We are also very much enjoying the new linen ledger pant… an elevated uptake on a chino… outfit sorted.

Okay ladies, you’ve been patient and we promise we’ve made it worth your while…

Florence and Marabel continue to bring us coveted style with brands that are unique to our centre. This month we are crushing on twins sets and the Cottesloe outfit is way too tempting to resist; with fabric so soft it feels like liquid silk and looking like a dream. Mix it back with a classic flat from Seed and a chic Tiffany frame from OPSM…. one word: fabulous!

For those unafraid to bear a little skin, the malibu stripe maxi skirt in blue with matching crop are perfect for those warm summer days. For instant elevation add the braided bucket hat from Witchery… style queen!

If its denim every day for you, and casual cool is your go to style, Cotton On will be nothing but a delight to your fashion senses. Low rise, high rise, straight or flared. They have it all.  Pair back your favourites with a pastel tee, a classic 1970’s Chuck Taylor converse high top and a little luxe from Mimco. What more is there to be said.

Pens down ladies and gentlemen, it’s time to hit the shops!
