Celebrate NAIDOC Week at Grand Central

Presenting the Igniting Creativity Exhibition.

Igniting Creativity Exhibition Artworks
The Igniting Creativity Exhibition artworks have been created by local First Nations organisations for display at Grand Central to celebrate NAIDOC Week 2024. NAIDOC Week is an annual celebration of the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in Australia. This year's theme embraces the strength, resilience, and cultural pride of our First Nations communities. Each of the artworks created for the Igniting Creativity Exhibition establishes a connection with ancestral and cultural roots and aims to share and educate the greater community about First Nations culture, an ongoing objective that Grand Central could not be any prouder to share. With this Exhibition, we're also asking that our exhibition viewers donate to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation – an Australian not-for-profit that works to address the educational disadvantages faced by Indigenous Australian children and young people by providing access to books and literacy programs. Amplifying First Nations voices, culture, and the enduring connection to the land. We're proud to present the Igniting Creativity Exhibition.
Check out how each organisation has worked to show their own reflection of NAIDOC Week through their artworks.
